Why it matters

The 3.5 Ti-VCT oil cooler gasket is a known weep point. Cheap aftermarket seals often don't survive heat cycles. Use the Ford/Motorcraft seal and don't reuse the old one — if you're already into the cooler for a leak, do it once.
